  My Favorite Cartoon Name is kolikuttu sahodarayo, I used to love watching the Sinhala cartoon “Koli Kutthu Sahodarayo” when I was a child. Back then, it was broadcast in very limited episodes, unlike today’s widespread media access. Because of this, I would eagerly wait every day to watch it, sometimes feeling a bit impatient.        The natural environment refers to all living and    non-living things that exist naturally on Earth without human intervention. It includes forests, mountains, rivers, oceans, plants, animals, air, water, and land. The natural environment operates according to the laws of nature and is essential for sustaining life on Earth. It plays a vital role in maintaining biodiversity, purifying air, providing water, and keeping the balance of ecosystems. Therefore, protecting the natural environment is the responsibility of everyone, as it ensures a healthy and sustainable future for all living beings.

  My favorite novel is gamperaliya “Gamperaliya” is a famous Sinhala novel written by Martin Wickramasinghe and first published in 1944. It is considered one of the most important works in Sri Lankan literature because it realistically portrays the social transformation of a traditional village society into a modern one. The story mainly revolves around the lives of Nanda, Piyal, and Jinadasa, highlighting their relationships and personal struggles as society changes around them. Nanda represents the traditional aristocratic class, while Piyal symbolizes the rise of educated youth and new ideas. Through their lives, the novel explores themes such as class change, love, economic development, and the decline of the old feudal system. Overall, “Gamperaliya” provides a deep insight into the cultural and social changes that took place in Sri Lanka during the early 20th century.

Maithripala Sirisena is a Sri Lankan politician who served as the 7th Executive President of Sri Lanka from January 9, 2015, to November 18, 2019. Born on September 3, 1951, in Polonnaruwa to a farming family, he pursued his early education at Lakshmipuram and Thoppawwa schools and later earned a diploma in agriculture from Kundasale Agricultural College. He also studied political science at the Maxim Gorky Institute in Russia. The Temple of the Tooth Relic, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Kandy. It houses the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha, which was brought to Sri Lanka from India by Princess Hemamala and Prince Dantha. Throughout history, the relic was kept in different ancient capitals such as Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa before being enshrined in Kandy. The temple is not only a place of worship but also a symbol of royal authority, as ancient kings believed that the right to rule the country depended on protecting the relic. The architecture of the temple is rich in traditional Kandyan style and holds great historical value. Every year, the famous Esala Perahera festival is held in honor of the relic, attracting thousands of devotees and tourists. Today, the temple remains a center of religious devotion, where daily rituals are performed and visitors from around the world come to pay their respects.
